Mark Rahner is a veteran journalist and comic book writer based in Seattle.
Mini-bio:
Rahner was the longtime pop-culture writer at The Seattle Times, where he was known for distinctively smart alec celebrity interviews, funny movie reviews and web-video satire. As a hard news reporter, he was on the team that won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for breaking news. His work has appeared in publications around the world including WIRED, FANGORIA, and STARS AND STRIPES.
Rahner is the creator of the acclaimed zombie comic book, "ROTTEN." His other comic work includes GREEN HORNET, WARLORD OF MARS, DEJAH THORIS AND THE WHITE APES OF MARS, LORD OF THE JUNGLE, VAMPIRELLA, and CTHULHU TALES.
Media appearances include Headline News, MSNBC TV, numerous radio shows, the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame ("Rahner's Rotten Rentals") as well as numerous podcasts such as BJ Shea's Geek Nation.
